Working independently, you'll troubleshoot and repair manual, semi-automated, and complex automated systems — covering mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and controls maintenance — in a clean room manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Advanced troubleshooting of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems Use the PLC and online ladder logic to troubleshoot machine control issues Complete corrective and preventative maintenance and equipment performance-improvement projects Support process validation activities and implement permanent corrective actions for recurring issues Contribute to equipment design and procedure improvements Mentor less-experienced mechanics and maintain broad knowledge of production equipment and processes Respond with urgency to minimize downtime while following all company and safety procedures May handle, label, and transfer hazardous waste per established procedures; may lead special projects Minimum qualifications High school diploma or GED Minimum 10 years of equipment maintenance experience (or an equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications) Advanced understanding of, and hands-on proficiency with, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, controls, and electrical systems Working understanding of programmable logic controllers (PLC) and ability to use the PLC as a troubleshooting tool Ability to read and interpret complex mechanical and electrical drawings, schematics, and flowcharts Proficiency with tools, instrumentation, and test equipment; metric and English measurement systems Effective verbal and written communication; ability to troubleshoot basic networks and use relevant PC software Strong safety record and high-quality workmanship meeting medical manufacturing standards Preferred Experience with RF welding
Pay:
$33 to $43 per hour
Shift:
