Full Job Description Job Overview:
Part-time position as a level one service technician focusing primarily in all aspects of veterinary infusion pump calibration and repair. This is a Monday to Friday position, with the option of selecting a fixed shift, either 9am to 1pm -or- 1pm to 5pm. This position is a great fit for Aims Community College or UNC students in technical programs. Why RepairMed? Performance of the job requires a technical and analytical mindset, high dexterity, keen eyesight, strong aptitude with hand tools, adhesive materials, and basic machining tools. Quality of work is of the utmost importance. Responsibilities Unload and check equipment into the Greeley workshop location Manage associated repair paperwork and equipment accessories Prepare estimates for various infusion pump line repairs Interpret customer notes and analyze reported issues Perform operational tests, evaluate functionality of devices Navigate device software menus, record alarm histories and statistics Record battery & power supply voltages using digital multimeter Perform flow and occlusion tests using Fluke infusion device analyzer Provide detailed notes on technical findings, diagnostic results Stow/allocate repair parts and organize daily diagnostic & repair queues Perform all levels of repair on various infusion pump lines Update software on infusion pumps as necessary Clean repaired equipment to a meticulous standard Prepare & pack repaired equipment for transport to distributor location Qualifications Seeking applicants with technical experience and aptitude. Applicable experience in electronics/medical devices preferred. Must be mechanically inclined and operate with high attention to detail Must have positive attitude and friendly demeanor Must have good communication skills with co-workers Must be able to complete service reports and checklists with very high accuracy Must be familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, specifically
Excel and Outlook Physical Demands:
Manual Dexterity:
Must possess fine motor skills and high tactile sensitivity for handling small components, delicate electronic circuitry, and precision hand tools.
Visual Acuity:
Must have keen eyesight (with or without corrective lenses) for close-up diagnostic work, reading small serial numbers, and identifying microscopic wear or debris.
Lifting & Carrying:
Ability to regularly lift, push, pull, and carry equipment totes or shipping boxes weighing up to 40 lbs independently.
Stationary Positions:
Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting or standing) at a repair bench for extended periods (up to 4 hours per shift).
Repetitive Motion:
Frequent use of hands and fingers to operate tools, navigate device menus, and perform cleaning/scrubbing tasks to a meticulous standard.
Work Environment:
Setting:
The position is located in a professional workshop and machine shop environment situated on a rural property.
Safety:
Must be able to navigate a shop floor safely and adhere to all safety protocols regarding basic machining tools and adhesive chemical handling.
Atmosphere:
Work is performed in a quiet, focused, climate-controlled indoor space; however, the role may require occasional outdoor exposure when transferring equipment between vehicles and the workshop. •Pay based on candidate background, level and relevance of experience•About The Company RepairMed is located on a 23-acre rural farm property in West Greeley, CO. The workplace is a 3-5 person office/workshop setting, with adjoining machine shop and warehouse space. Since 2014, RepairMed equipment has been partnered with Jorgensen Labs of Loveland Colorado, one of the country's largest veterinary distributors. RepairMed serves as the exclusive repair center for their entire line of infusion pumps and ultrasonic scaler products. This includes all peristaltic and syringe IV pump products from BD, Caesarea Medical, and Germany's B. Braun. Since 2018, RepairMed has been partnered with Horse Dental Equipment (HDE), a leader in motorized equine dentistry equipment based in France. RepairMed is the exclusive technical center for HDE in the USA, as well as the USA warehouse for finished goods and equine demonstration & tradeshow equipment.
Pay:
$20.00 - $27.00 per hour
