Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Calibration Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the precision and accuracy of a wide range of weighing instruments and control systems used. Your expertise in calibration, electrical systems, mechanical components, and industrial automation will be essential in maintaining our broad customer base. Responsibilities Perform calibration and maintenance on various weighing devices and systems, using schematics, technical manuals, and calibration procedures. Conduct field service activities including installation, calibration, repair, and testing of equipment at various site locations. Asphalt, concrete, industrial and medical customers throughout CT and MA. Physical position that requires heavy lifting, climbing stairs or climbing under industrial scales while utilizing calibration tools and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by communicating technical information clearly to team members and clients. Ensure adherence to safety standards related to industrial work environments and medical facilities when applicable. Experience Proven experience in industrial maintenance or calibration roles. Strong background in mechanical systems and electrical troubleshooting. Familiarity with calibration procedures for precision instruments using ohmmeters, and other measurement tools. Ability to perform field service tasks efficiently across multiple sites while maintaining high standards of quality. Prior scale service industry experience is a plus due to the specialized nature of some equipment involved. Must have clean driving record, CDL preferred but not required; Background checks will be conducted prior to hiring.
