ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE II

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As an Electronics Technician Maintenance II, the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission of nuclear submarine manufacturing. You will play a crucial role in communication, navigation and weapon system manufacturing.
    Lead/Manage/Support:
    Employee will be responsible for reading, understanding and interpreting system diagrams and schematics in the electronics building process.
    • Collaborate with team members and supervision to resolve and manage program issues that may arise.
    Drive:
    Employee must have a willingness to adapt and work as a team to continue to meet project dates and deadlines.
      Utilize:
      Resources throughout the facility to mitigate issues and work as team members.
      WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED
      Bring your electronics expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The Electronics Technician Maintenance II must have:
        Education:
        Associates Degree in a related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience.
          Experience:
          1+ years of related experience
          • Technical skills:
          IPC-J-STD
          Soldering, crimping, lugging, knowledge of schematics and wire run lists.
          • Security clearance level: Ability to obtain Secret security clearance.
          • US citizenship required
          • Role requirements: Employee must have knowledge of electronic schematics, have experience with common hand tools and be familiar with the use of a multimeter.
          Employee will be building and running wire cableways in electrical communication, navigation and weapon systems.

The likely hourly rate for this position is between $28.90 - $39.10. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
