Job Description
Grow your craft with purpose Join a team where your troubleshooting talent keeps production moving. You'll own the health of CNC- and PLC-driven machinery, from quick signal checks to full control-cabinet rewires, while contributing to upgrades that make our lines safer, faster, and smarter. Role highlights Work hands-on with CNC and PLC systems, applying schematics and manuals to resolve issues efficiently. Complete both routine and complex plant/machine wiring tasks. Use professional test equipment to diagnose faults and validate repairs. Repair and replace AC/DC servo drives, power supplies, and motion feedback components. Troubleshoot and swap switches and other electrical parts as needed. Assist in planning and executing refurbishments and equipment upgrades. How you'll collaborate Partner with vendors for specialized support and technical resources. Order parts and manage replacements to sustain inventory levels. Champion 6S housekeeping; keep work cells organized and audit-ready. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that boost uptime and quality. Engage in training; follow Quality and EHS programs without exception. Comply with the Employee Handbook, maintain dependable attendance, and take on additional duties as assigned. What you bring HS diploma/GED required; Associate's in electronics preferred. Experience with machine tool controls (CNC, PLC) in a manufacturing setting. Proficiency with 480/277/220 VAC three-phase power, transformers, and industrial wiring practices. Ability to apply advanced trades math and read complex drawings, specs, and charts. Strength in planning, troubleshooting, and sequencing setups, operations, and processes. Comfort following established instructions, routines, and methods. Ability to balance multiple priorities effectively. Experience using maintenance databases/CMMS; electrical engineering background preferred.
