Coffee Service Equipment Technician (Field)

Canteen Refreshments is seeking a Coffee Service Equipment Technician (Field) to handle service calls and preventative maintenance on company owned equipment at client locations in the DMV area. The ideal candidate will live close to - or be comfortable with commuting - to DC and Northern VA areas on a daily basis. This position will operate with a high level of autonomy. Individual will need to pass an extensive background check to obtain clearance for facilities. Candidate should possess the following skills: Handle customer relations in a professional and friendly manner A strong aptitude for mechanical, electrical and plumbing repair work along with a high level of dexterity with tools and mechanical equipment. A knack to do preventative maintenance work Knowledge of how to maintain, repair, diagnose and correctly install or replace coffee and water equipment. Excellent written communication abilities for filing repair, installation and maintenance reports Strong knowledge about Beverage industry and general requirements for different equipment types is preferred Educate users about the correct use and upkeep of coffee and water equipment Individuals with prior experience working in facilities, apartment complexes, small engine or home repairs are encouraged to apply.
