Key Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with fiber optic installations, including patching from patch panel to patch panel, patch panel to devices, and device-to-device connections. Strong understanding of fiber optic systems, bundled fiber handling, and best practices for large-scale fiber deployments. Ability and willingness to climb ladders and perform physically demanding tasks in various work environments. Must provide own over-the-ankle, ESD-rated composite toe safety boots and adhere to all safety protocols and PPE requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute fiber patching between patch panels, devices, and network equipment, ensuring accurate and reliable connections. Assist in the deployment and organization of bundled fiber for large infrastructure projects, maintaining quality and efficiency. Ensure proper cable management, labeling, and organization to support easy maintenance and troubleshooting. Adhere to all safety guidelines, including proper use of PPE, and maintain a safe working environment at all times. Work closely with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders to complete installations on time and within project scope.
