job summary: Automation Technician needed for immediate first shift contract role in the Bradenton, FL area with an awesome organization! This person will build state of the art automation equipment based on blueprint & schematics and have the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or controls issues during the build. Must have a proven mechanical mindset, at least 2+ years of related experience, and be comfortable using tools such as multimeters, calipers/micrometers, and mechanical tools. The right person for this role will have an excellent team attitude, natural engineering curiosity and passion for a job well done. Bradenton, Florida job type: Contract salary: $23 - 26 per hour work hours: 7am to 3pm education: High School responsibilities: Build linear rails, gearboxes, and precision automation equipment from blueprint & schematicsTroubleshoot and diagnose mechanical or controls issuesFollow SOW's for assembly of electromechanical productsUse precision measurement to guarantee best quality of assemblyPerform point to point wiring of control panels using electrical schematicsFollow SOW's for assembly of electromechanical productsActively participate in project huddles for scheduled timelines with enthusiastic attitude Requirements Minimum of a High School Education along with 2 years related electromechanical automationExperience using precision measurement tools such as multimeters, calipers/micrometers and other mechanical toolsFamiliarity with motion controls such as servo motors, drive and other automation controlsAbility to read mechanical drawings 2D and 3D along with electrical schematicsPossess the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose any potential issuesTechnical Certificate in Electrical Controls is desiredProven computer skills; MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint qualifications: Experience level: Entry LevelMinimum 2 years of experience
