Full-Time About the Role A leading marine electronics company in Fort Lauderdale is seeking an experienced Marine Electronics Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience working with marine navigation, communication, audio/video, and networking systems on yachts and vessels. This role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting high-end marine electronic systems while ensuring exceptional service quality and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair marine electronic systems, including: Navigation and communication systems (VHF, LTE/5G Internet, satellite) Audio/video and entertainment systems Network and security systems on yachts and vessels Read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical schematics. Perform on-site inspections, maintenance, and upgrades for new builds and refits. Ensure compliance with NMEA standards and industry best practices. Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule and within budget. Maintain detailed service records and documentation. Provide clear technical communication and excellent customer support. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience with marine electronics, AV systems, or yacht networks. NMEA certification preferred. U.S. citizenship required. Must own tools, have a reliable vehicle , and a valid driver's license with a clean record. Ability to pass background and drug screening . Must reside in or near Broward County, FL . Professional fluency in English. Willingness to travel for select assignments.
