In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of marine electronic systems. Your expertise will ensure that vessels operate safely and efficiently, providing top-tier service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced environment, where your mechanical and electrical skills will make a real impact on marine safety and performance. Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and troubleshoot marine electronic systems including navigation, communication, radar, and autopilot equipment. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately diagnose issues. Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electronic components using hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, and precision measuring instruments. Conduct rigging and fabrication tasks such as sheet metal work, welding, and assembly to support system installations. Utilize electrical testing devices like ohmmeters and calipers to ensure systems meet safety standards and specifications. Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, provide technical support, and deliver exceptional service. Assist with heavy lifting and mechanical tasks related to vessel maintenance or system upgrades as needed. Qualifications Proven service technician experience with electronic or mechanical systems; marine experience is a plus. Strong understanding of schematics, wiring diagrams, and electrical troubleshooting techniques. Military background or experience with military-grade equipment is highly desirable. Solid electrical experience combined with mechanical knowledge; familiarity with rigging and fabrication processes. Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, calipers, sheet metal tools, welding equipment, and heavy lifting techniques. Experience with vehicle maintenance or other mechanical repair work is advantageous. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical information clearly. Knowledge of maintenance procedures for heavy machinery or vessels; experience in sales or product demonstrations is a bonus.
