Metrology & Calibration Specialist Precision Measurement Inc. - Fort Walton Beach, FL Full-Time | On-Site Precision Measurement Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Metrology & Calibration Specialist to join our accredited calibration laboratory in Fort Walton Beach, Florida . This position is a strong fit for someone with hands-on technical ability, attention to detail, and experience working with precision measurement equipment. Our lab operates under

ISO/IEC 17025

standards and supports both in-lab calibration services and occasional customer-site work. What You'll Do In this role, you will inspect, test, adjust, and calibrate a variety of precision measurement instruments while following established technical procedures and quality requirements.

Responsibilities include:

Perform calibration and verification of precision measurement tools and test equipment Follow written procedures, technical standards, and quality system requirements Maintain accurate records and document calibration results clearly Support NIST-traceable measurement processes Assist with on-site calibration services at customer facilities when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional work environment What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is dependable, technically minded, and interested in building a long-term career in calibration and metrology.

Minimum qualifications:

Strong mechanical, electrical, or technical aptitude Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Authorized to work in the United States Desire to learn, improve, and grow with the company Preferred Experience Candidates with any of the following backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply: TMDE or PMEL experience, military or commercial 4+ years of experience in calibration, metrology, electronics, instrumentation, or a related technical field Formal training or education in calibration, electronics, test equipment, or measurement science Experience supporting field calibration or customer-site service work Willingness to travel for local, domestic, and occasional international assignments Compensation & Benefits Precision Measurement Inc. offers competitive compensation and a strong benefits package for full-time employees.
