Electronics Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electronics Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electronic equipment and systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of hardware components, including computer hardware, low voltage systems, and electronic devices. Duties Perform field service tasks by installing, calibrating, and repairing electronic equipment at various sites. Use hand tools and precision measuring instruments such as ohmmeters to diagnose electrical issues accurately. Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex electronic systems efficiently. Conduct routine maintenance on electronic hardware and network equipment to prevent failures and extend lifespan. Repair or replace faulty components within computer hardware, low voltage systems, and other electronic devices. Collaborate with service technicians to resolve equipment issues swiftly and ensure customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, parts used, and system configurations for documentation purposes. Qualifications Proven experience in field service or as a service technician working with electronic equipment. Proficiency with hand tools, schematics reading, and basic mechanical knowledge. Strong understanding of computer hardware, networking principles, and low voltage electrical systems. Experience with equipment repair, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with using testing devices such as ohmmeters and other diagnostic tools. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in diverse environments requiring mechanical aptitude. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure precise repairs and maintenance.
