$22.73 - $29.55 / hour Summary The Pharmacy Automation Technician supports the safe and efficient use of medication automation systems within the pharmacy. This role is responsible for routine software management of automated dispensing machines (ADMs), including user provisioning, formulary maintenance, patient reconciliation, device listings, and inventory refinement. The technician repairs, maintains, and reconfigures automation devices as needed, and implements workflows to enhance patient safety and operational efficiency. Additionally, the role involves compiling and distributing routine data reports, sharing system-related information with end users, and performing assigned activities under the direction of the Pharmacy Informatics leadership team and Pharmacy Department Leadership.

Requirements Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced education preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of two (2) years prior hospital pharmacy technician experience required. Experience in managing pharmacy hardware or software technology preferred.

Certification:

CPhT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) with national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.

License:

Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida Department of Health required.
