Job Description

Job Description:
We are seeking an ESD Calibration Technician with experience performing calibrations, certifications, and maintenance of Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control equipment and related instrumentation. This role supports engineering and laboratory operations and is not a production or quality assurance position.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform certifications and calibrations of ESD mats, ESD monitors, soldering stations, and air ionizers. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of electronic and electromechanical equipment. Read and interpret calibration certificates, work orders, engineering drawings, schematics, and test procedures. Verify compliance with
ANSI/ESD S20.20
standards. Use handheld ESD testing equipment to measure surface resistance and charge decay. Calibrate and certify soldering and rework stations using thermocouples, IR pyrometers, and profiling software. Maintain calibration records and update tracking systems and calibration management software. Document test results and prepare reports in the required format. Perform adjustments, modifications, and repairs as needed.
Required Qualifications:
1-3 years of hands-on experience performing calibrations and certifications on ESD control equipment and related instrumentation. Minimum 1 year of experience with floor mat testing and ESD monitor verification. Minimum 1 year of experience calibrating and certifying soldering and rework stations. Knowledge of
ANSI/ESD S20.20
standards. Experience using ESD test equipment to measure surface resistance and charge decay. Ability to read and interpret calibration certificates, work orders, and test procedures. Experience with spreadsheet tracking and calibration management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using calibrated thermocouples or IR pyrometers to verify temperature set points. Experience with profiling software. Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills. BI03
Pay:
