Ready to be the controls expert keeping the world's most critical packaging lines running? We are searching for a dynamic, road-warrior Field Service Technician to be the front-line ambassador and technical authority on our cutting-edge aseptic thermoform equipment. If you thrive on the challenge of designing, installing, and troubleshooting complex PLC, HMI, and motion control systems from Allen Bradley to Siemens, and you re excited by a role that offers high travel and a direct, measurable impact on customer satisfaction and business growth, then plug into this opportunity! AssociateResponsibilities Installation, Maintenance, and Repair:
Install, test, analyze, maintain, and repair packaging equipment and products at customer sites, focusing on controls platforms. Perform field service repairs, installations, and audits for new and existing machines.Technical Proficiency:
Sustain high proficiency in control software (e.g., Allen Bradley/Rockwell Automation, Siemens, SCL, Codesys) and PLC-equipped machinery. Must understand wiring, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics.System Commissioning & Support:
Perform system commissioning on-site, analyze issues, and implement solutions. Provide support to customers and internal Customer Service, Assembly, and Sales departments.Software Updates & Quoting:
Provide updates and modifications to machine controls software/firmware. Assist with quoting requests for electronic control software/hardware and electrical component upgrades.Training & Documentation:
Train customers, managers, technical personnel, and operators on proper operation, maintenance, and safety rules, focusing on applicable control software. Maintain necessary machine configuration documentation.Internal Collaboration:
Support design/order reviews, assembly, testing, and final acceptance tests (SAT/FAT) to ensure controls interface and integration proficiency. Provide feedback on equipment needs and report concerns/complaints to the Quality Manager.
