This position is ideal for candidates with strong electrical, instrumentation, electronics, automotive diagnostics, or test technician experience. Automotive Technicians, Electronics Technicians, Test Technicians, Calibration Technicians, and Engineering Technicians are encouraged to apply. In this role, you will install, calibrate, troubleshoot, and operate instrumentation systems used in aerospace testing environments. You will work with advanced sensors, data acquisition systems, electronic test equipment, and engineering teams to collect and analyze critical test data. Key Responsibilities Install and connect instrumentation systems for laboratory and environmental testing Calibrate, configure, and troubleshoot: Accelerometers Thermocouples Load Cells Pressure Transducers Displacement Transducers Acoustic Sensors Connect instrumentation to data acquisition systems (DAQ) and signal conditioning equipment Operate digital data acquisition systems and verify proper functionality Collect, process, and validate test data for engineering customers Interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test procedures Fabricate electronic cables, connector assemblies, and circuit board assemblies Perform electrical measurements and diagnostics using electronic test equipment Support laboratory testing activities and ensure accurate documentation of results Collaborate with engineers and internal customers to meet project requirements and deadlines Drive company vehicles and golf carts as required within the facility Maintain compliance with laboratory safety procedures and testing standards Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Minimum 2 years of experience working with electrical systems, instrumentation, electronics, or testing environments Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams Working knowledge of: Ohm's Law Resistance, Voltage, and Current calculations Electrical troubleshooting principles Minimum 2 years of experience fabricating: Electronic cables Connector assemblies Circuit boards Minimum 2 years of experience calibrating and operating digital data acquisition systems Minimum 2 years of experience operating electronic test equipment Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of basic mechanical and electrical concepts Proficiency with computers for data collection, documentation, and communication Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently and within a team environment Preferred Qualifications Experience with aerospace, defense, automotive, laboratory, or environmental testing Experience with instrumentation systems and sensor integration J-STD Solder Certification or equivalent electronics soldering experience Experience with electro-mechanical sensors and actuators Mechanical testing experience Diagnostic troubleshooting experience involving: Vehicles Instrumentation systems Electronic equipment Computer-controlled systems Familiarity with laboratory testing procedures and data analysis Security & Licensing Requirements Candidates must be capable of obtaining: DOD Secret Security Clearance ATF Explosives Possessor License Candidates must be eligible to work in environments supporting government and defense-related programs.
