Job Description

  • A Snapshot of Your Day
  • TheMechanic is responsible for inspecting, diagnosing, and repairing vehicles orequipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
This role performs routinemaintenance, troubleshoots mechanical issues, and completes repairs accordingto company standards and manufacturer guidelines. The Mechanic works closelywith service advisors, shop supervisors, and customers to deliver high-qualityworkmanship in a timely manner.
  • How You'll Make anImpact
  • + Diagnosemechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools andmanuals.
+ Perform repairson engines, brakes, suspensions, transmissions, drivetrains, HVAC systems,and other components. + Conduct routineand preventive maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements, tirerotations, and fluid checks. + Concerns toinspect vehicles/equipment for safety and performance. + Completewarranty repairs following manufacturer procedures. + Test repairedvehicles/equipment to verify proper operation. + Accuratelydocument all repairs, parts used, and labor hours in shop managementsystems. + Maintain tools,equipment, and workstations in proper working conditions. + Providerecommendations for additional repairs or maintenance based oninspections. + Communicateclearly with service advisors, team leaders, and customers about repairneeds and timelines. + Explaintechnical issues in a way customers can understand. + Support othermechanics by collaborating and sharing technical knowledge.

  • + Mechanicalaptitude and hands-on repair experience.
+ Proficiencywith diagnostic software, hand tools, and shop equipment. + Ability to readtechnical manuals, diagrams, and repair instructions. + Strongproblem-solving skills and attention to detail. + Workenvironment can include working outdoors or indoors on repairs. _

_ + Frequentbending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing to inspect or repair equipment. + Regular liftingand handling of tools, parts, and materials up to

+ Prolongedstanding and walking throughout the facility during shift. + Ability tooperate hand tools and power tools requiring manual dexterity and gripstrength. + Ability to workin confined spaces, elevated areas, and varying temperatures (hot/coldenvironments).
