You will be the Senior Calibration Technician Specialist for the Calibration team. Our team is responsible for calibrating electronic test and measuring equipment to meet exacting standards. What You Will Be Doing As the Senior Calibration Technician Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring all test and measurement instruments are accurate, reliable, and ready for mission-critical use. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Calibrate electronic, electromechanical, optical, pneumatic, and pressure-type measuring instruments according to detailed specifications. Set up and execute calibration sequences, methods, and procedures using blueprints and drawings. Disassemble, clean, repair, and replace defective parts of test equipment such as pressure gauges and tension meters. Sets up calibration sequences, methods and procedures according to detailed specifications, blueprints, drawings, and requirements. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Document calibration results, maintain records, and ensure compliance with statistical process control or other quality procedures. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior technicians. Basic Qualifications:
4+ years experience in a Calibration Lab Ability to interpret specifications Strong background in electronic, electrical, optics and/or RF/Microwave calibration Physical/ Dimensional calibration experience Technical Associates Degree with 3 years of experience or equivalent experience/combined education. Ability to obtain a secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication Excellent computer skills Electronics calibration experience Mechanical calibration Experience Familiarity with Indysoft, LabView, SureCal, MetCal and Cal Exec and/or other automated metrology software a plus RF Calibration experience Formal
PMEL/TMDE

Work Schedules:
