Job Description

Our client is a technology company looking for a hands-on technician to join their hardware assembly and test team supporting next-generation autonomous vehicle programs. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid mechanical/electrical fundamentals who wants to grow into more specialized defense and autonomy work, training will be provided on company-specific processes and standards. Position Overview The Electronic Technician will support assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical and electromechanical systems for autonomous vehicle platforms. Day-to-day work includes building cable assemblies, wiring electrical components, and verifying systems function correctly before they're installed into larger platforms. Key Responsibilities Build and inspect wire harnesses and cable assemblies (crimping, soldering, terminating, labeling) Assemble and wire electrical components and enclosures per drawings and documentation Use multimeters and basic test equipment to verify continuity, wiring, and electrical connections Perform basic functional checks (power-on, voltage checks) before parts move to the next stage Read and follow wiring diagrams, schematics, and bills of materials Prep and organize cables/parts for installation teams Flag and document any issues found during assembly or testing Support troubleshooting and repair work as needed Keep accurate build records and documentation What We're Looking For Hands-on experience with wiring, soldering, electrical assembly, or electromechanical work, this could come from automotive, marine, aerospace, manufacturing, military, or similar backgrounds Comfortable reading technical drawings/schematics or willing to learn Familiarity with basic hand tools, soldering irons, and multimeters Good attention to detail and documentation habits Associate's degree, technical certification, or equivalent hands-on experience (electronics, electromechanical, marine tech, automotive, etc.) Comfortable working in a shop/shipyard environment; able to lift, climb, and work in tight spaces Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain a U.S. government security clearance

Up to $80,000.00 per year
