Job Description
CM Cable LLC is hiring Fiber Technicians to perform fiber optic installation and service work for residential and light commercial customers. This role is well-suited for motivated individuals who are dependable, willing to learn, and take pride in quality workmanship. Work is paid per completed job , offering strong earning potential based on productivity. Responsibilities Install and activate fiber optic services Route and secure fiber lines inside and outside homes Mount and connect equipment such as ONTs and wall plates Test connections and verify service functionality Troubleshoot basic connectivity issues Complete required job documentation and photos Maintain clean, professional job sites Follow all safety and company standards Communicate professionally with customers and dispatch Requirements Willingness to learn and follow instructions Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently once trained Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 75 lbs Comfortable working on ladders and at heights Smartphone capable of running required work applications Preferred (Not Required) Any telecom, cable, or low-voltage experience Basic hand tool knowledge Customer service or field work experience Compensation & Benefits Paid per job (performance-based earnings) Consistent work for reliable technicians Flexible scheduling based on workload Training provided for the right candidates Opportunity for long-term work and growth Work Environment Field-based fiber installation work Residential and light commercial locations Indoor and outdoor work in various conditions
