Mechanical Installer II - Short-Term Project (6-8 Weeks)

Future travel opportunities based on performance Overview We're hiring a Mechanical Installer II to support a fast‑paced warehouse automation upgrade. You'll help install robotic arms, substations, and internal site fencing while working hands-on with tools, wiring, and mechanical assemblies. This role is physical, detail‑oriented, and ideal for someone who thrives in a construction-like environment. Strong performance on this project may lead to additional travel-based installation assignments. What You'll Do Install robotic arms, substations, and internal fencing. Assemble and commission robotic equipment using diagrams and instructions. Move and organize materials using pallet jacks; transport items via elevators. Run wiring and cabling for power systems. Operate hand tools and air tools safely and accurately.

Perform general labor tasks:

sweeping, cleaning, loading, packaging, and basic construction support. Rotate between roles including inventory support, housekeeping, and robotics assembly. Lift and carry 40-50 lbs throughout the shift. Maintain strong communication, follow safety rules, and uphold excellent attendance. Required Skills Experience using power tools and hand tools in industrial or construction settings. Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and step-by-step instructions. Comfortable standing, walking, and lifting on hard cement floors for 8 hours. Reliable, professional, and safety‑focused. Preferred Experience Robotics, warehouse automation, or material handling systems. Large-scale distribution or construction project work. Inventory support, material handling, or housekeeping roles. Ability to work effectively in loud, crowded, and fast-paced environments. Work Environment Large, multi-floor distribution facility under construction. Conditions may be loud, dusty, and hot in some areas. Extensive walking and material movement on cement floors. PPE required (vest, glasses, hard hat, gloves, earplugs).

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
