This role is responsible for evaluating returned products (RMA), maintaining test systems, and ensuring product performance and reliability through structured testing and continuous improvement initiatives. Key Responsibilities Set up, maintain, and calibrate test equipment and fixtures used for product validation, production testing, and troubleshooting Perform functional, diagnostic, and reliability testing in accordance with established procedures Troubleshoot and analyze returned products (RMA) to determine root cause of failure Collaborate with engineering, quality, and manufacturing teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) Identify failure trends and provide data-driven insights to improve product reliability and manufacturing processes Develop, document, and update test procedures, work instructions, and troubleshooting guides Maintain accurate test records and documentation in compliance with ISO 13485 and internal quality systems Support incoming inspection, verification, and production testing activities as needed Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality, test efficiency, and manufacturing processes Qualifications Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) Minimum of 2 years of experience troubleshooting electronic products in a manufacturing or service environment Proficiency with electronic diagnostic tools, including multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators Experience performing root cause analysis and documenting technical findings Familiarity with ISO 13485 or other regulated quality systems Preferred Skills Experience with RMA processing and failure analysis in a medical device or regulated industry Soldering and rework experience (SMT and through-hole components) Experience with test fixtures and both automated and manual test systems Ability to analyze failure data, identify trends, and recommend improvements Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy in regulated environments Work Environment Medical device manufacturing and lab environment May involve handling sensitive electronic components and test equipment Requires adherence to quality and regulatory standards

Pay:

$30.00 - $37.50 per hour
