  • Full-time Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Lead Technician to join our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess 2+ years of experience with residential and commercial access control systems, surveillance systems, A/V distribution and structured cabling. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of quality and efficiency in our operations, ensuring that all technical tasks are completed accurately and on time. Duties Oversee and coordinate the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively and implement solutions. Provide field service support, including on-site inspections and repairs as needed. Utilize hand tools and specialized equipment to perform technical tasks safely and efficiently. Maintain accurate records of work performed, including service reports and equipment logs. Collaborate with team members to ensure all projects are completed within deadlines while adhering to safety protocols. Train and mentor junior technicians in best practices for equipment maintenance and repair.
Skills/Requirements Minimum Requirement:
High School Diploma Clean driving record Must pass background and drug screening Proficient in reading and interpreting plans related to electrical systems. Strong telecommunication skills for effective communication with team members and clients. Experience in field service roles, demonstrating hands-on problem-solving abilities. Solid understanding of electrical principles, computer hardware, cabling techniques, and mechanical knowledge. Familiarity with CRMs is highly desirable. Ability to use hand power tools effectively for various maintenance tasks. Strong organizational skills to maintain detailed records of work performed and equipment status.
