job summary: Senior Test Lab Specialist located in Sandy Springs, GA for a leading manufacturer of consumer goods. The Sr. Tech Specialist supports and advances child restraint system development by planning, executing, and documenting dynamic sled tests and related evaluations. This is a contract opportunity for five (5) months with potential to turn permanent.

location: Sandy Springs, Georgia job type: Contract salary: $26 - 29 per hour work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Associates responsibilities: Supports and advances child restraint system development by planning, executing, and documenting dynamic sled tests and related evaluationsLead execution of dynamic sled/crash simulations for child restraint systems, including test setup, instrumentation checks, child restraint system installation, and adherence to all applicable test procedures.

Perform hands-on setup of crash tests, including test fixtures/sled, instrumentation, installing child restraint systems.

Collect, review, and validate test data and provide clear summaries to engineers and program teams.
Required Qualifications:
Associate degree (or equivalent experience)2+ years experience with maintenance and repair of laboratory testing equipmentMechanical aptitude with with tools, fixtures, instrumentation, and test hardwareExperience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation issuesComputer proficiency (Microsoft Office, other proprietary software for custom equipment) qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 2 years of experience
