Job Description

Global Electronic Services (GES) is seeking a skilled Servo Motor Technician to join our team at our headquarters in Buford, Georgia , conveniently located just north of downtown Atlanta. This hands-on, in-shop role involves diagnosing, repairing, and testing servo motors and related components to ensure exceptional performance, reliability, and quality for our customers. GES is one of the nation's leading providers of industrial electronic and servo motor repair services. We're looking for a highly qualified professional to join our growing team and are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus for the right candidate.

Competitive pay: based on experience, skills, and qualifications Benefits package: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and a company-matched 401(k) plan Generous paid time off (PTO) plus paid company holidays Career advancement opportunities with a stable, industry-leading company Work alongside a talented team in a supportive, hands-on environment What you'll do: Diagnose, repair, and rebuild servo motors, feedback devices, and related components Perform detailed tear-down, inspection, and reassembly of motors Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures using diagnostic equipment Test repaired units to ensure they meet manufacturer specifications Document repairs, parts used, and test results accurately Collaborate with team members to meet turnaround times and production goals What we're looking for: Proven experience repairing servo motors (bench-level experience preferred) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals Experience using diagnostic tools, meters, and testing equipment High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment Experience with motor drives, encoders, and industrial automation equipment Working knowledge with testing and calibration processes Technical training in electronics, electromechanical technology, or related field
Schedule and Work Environment:
Monday through Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM In-shop / bench repair setting (not a field service role) Climate controlled shop with modern testing equipment Hands-on, detail-oriented work with precision components
Pay:
From $28.00 per hour
