GA - Maintenance Specialist (Electrical/Automation) Dudley, GA Full-TimeOn-Site$30 - $40 /hr Posted March 18, 2026 Industrial Maintenance Technician We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical troubleshooting capabilities and hands-on experience working as an industrial electrician. This role supports a high-volume manufacturing environment and requires expertise in automation systems, PLC-based equipment, and industrial control systems. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who thrives in fast-paced production settings and takes pride in maintaining equipment reliability and uptime. Key Responsibilities Perform electrical troubleshooting on production machinery, automation systems, and facility equipment. Diagnose and repair issues involving motors, drives, sensors, relays, control circuits, and power distribution. Install, maintain, and repair industrial electrical systems, including conduit, wiring, panels, and switchgear. Work with PLC-controlled equipment (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) to identify faults and support basic program adjustments. Maintain and repair automation components, including VFDs, HMIs, servo systems, and robotic equipment. Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals. Collaborate with production, engineering, and safety teams to support continuous improvement initiatives. Document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment performance in the CMMS system. Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70E, OSHA, and company safety standards. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or as an industrial electrician. Strong proficiency in electrical troubleshooting on industrial equipment. Hands-on experience with automation controls, including PLCs, sensors, and control circuits. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and ladder logic diagrams. Experience working with 480V 3-phase systems, motor controls, and VFDs. Knowledge of industrial safety practices and lockout/tagout procedures. Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment issues. Preferred Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, food production, packaging, or industrial processing environments. Familiarity with Allen-Bradley PLCs, RSLogix, or similar platforms. Mechanical aptitude (pneumatics, hydraulics, conveyors, gearboxes). Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent training. CMMS experience (Fiix, eMaint, SAP PM, etc.).
