Norcross, GA Job Details Full-time $57,000 - $60,000 a year 1 hour ago Qualifications Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Document review (document control) Microsoft Excel 3D CAD modeling Schematics Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering Bachelor's degree in engineering technology Technical documentation Computer literacy Engineering Mechanical Engineering Electrical engineering Analysis skills Bachelor's degree in engineering Associate's degree in electrical engineering Engineering Technology Organizational skills Technical writing Technical troubleshooting support Productivity software 1 year Electrical Engineering Associate's degree Drafting Communication skills Associate's degree in engineering technology Entry level Full Job Description Essential Functions Create 3D design model of project through SolidWorks Create 2D drawings of general arrangement, piping, skid, etc. from 3D model through SolidWorks Model new components and assemblies as required Support the design and configuration of fire pump packages, including preparation of CAD drawings, general arrangements, and system schematics Create and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) while ensuring accuracy and alignment with project requirements Prepare and review technical documentation packages such as data sheets, pump curves, and compliance documentation for customer submittals Collaborate with sales and project teams to interpret customer specifications, clarify technical requirements, and support project handovers Provide technical support for internal teams and customers, including troubleshooting, documentation improvements, and engineering clarifications Perform other duties as assigned Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, with 1+ year experience, OR Associates Degree in Engineering Technology with 2+ years' design engineering experience Competent user of Solidworks or equivalent 3D design software Creativity and innovation skills Strong computer aptitude, which includes expertise with Microsoft Excel and Word Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness to always comply with all safety guidelines High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-oriented Strong organizational skills and attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work with minimal supervision and administer multiple projects and deadlines Willingness to work interdisciplinary in electrical and controls design Ability to exercise sound judgment Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a teamSimilar remote jobs
