  • 11:00 PM Industry construction, trades & mining (Construction and Extraction Occupations) Reference number S_173289 Perform standardized electrical tests as directed per UL, CSA, and other certification bodies under the direction of lab team leader.
The testing includes temperature, short circuit, mechanical endurance, electrical endurance, and environmental. Will report to the Laboratory Team Lead.
Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate and detailed testing documentation describing the performance of various electrical devices including circuit breakers, controls devices, and distribution equipment.
  • You will maintain safe and clean work environment.
  • Other assignments as directed by Team Lead.
  • Test equipment maintenance/upgrades.
  • You will cross-train in other areas of the Power Lab with the expectation to learn quickly.
Responsibilities:
Standardized Compliance Testing:
Conduct rigorous electrical tests?including temperature, short circuit, and mechanical/electrical endurance?on circuit breakers and distribution equipment in accordance with UL, CSA, and ISO certification standards.
Data Documentation & Analysis:
Produce comprehensive technical reports detailing the performance and failure points of electrical devices to ensure product safety and reliability. ...
Precision Instrumentation:
Utilize oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and thermocouples to monitor real-time electrical signals and thermal behavior during high-stress testing cycles.
Lab Maintenance & Upgrades:
Perform routine maintenance and calibration on lab test equipment to ensure continuous operational readiness and accuracy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Coordinate with the Lab Team Lead to execute complex testing schedules, while cross-training in diverse areas of the Power Lab to support multi-disciplinary projects.
Workplace Safety & Standards:
Maintain a clean, organized, and "safety-first" laboratory environment, adhering to ISO 9001 and 17025 documentation protocols.

Experience using thermocouples. 8. Analytical thinking combined with conceptual and organizational abilities. 9. Team oriented personality who has the ability to work well by themselves or on a team in an international environment. 10. Proactive at executing daily tasks and achieving long-term goals. 11. High School Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
1. High School required; 2-year degree in electrical field of study preferred. 2. Experience with or testing circuit breakers. 3. Proficient in Microsoft Office skills. 4.
