We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician who would be responsible for maintaining and repairing industrial equipment, ensuring optimal performance through preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on motors, conveyors, pneumatics, hydraulics, and production machinery. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including 480Vac power systems and 120Vac controls; install wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus. Troubleshoot and replace faulty components such as relays, switches, sensors, motors, and circuit boards. Fabricate and install parts using machine shop tools; operate welding and cutting equipment as needed. Maintain inventory of parts and supplies; anticipate needs and process orders. Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals; prepare maintenance reports and document actions. Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment. Communicate effectively with maintenance leadership, production teams, and operators. Preferred Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; technical certification preferred. Minimum 3 years of industrial electro-mechanical experience. Experience with PLCs, welding, pneumatics, hydraulics, and troubleshooting. Flexibility to be on call 1 weekend a month Proficient in troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Skilled in using precision instruments (calipers, micrometers) and electrical meters. Ability to read technical documents and blueprints; strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
