This position requires a broad-based electrical and mechanical skillset and a proactive approach to improve the site's performance through trouble-shooting and hands-on repair. Based at our customer site, the Resident Automation Technician II must represent the TGW image and ensure that a professional relationship with the client is developed and maintained. This position is based at our customer site in Aurora, IL.

$28•34/hr
Shift:
Friday•Monday; 4:00 pm•3:00 am What you'll be handling Resolve customer equipment issues as quickly and practically as possible. Complete work assignments and the associated work orders as assigned. Complete maintenance activities pertaining to the automated equipment onsite, including conveyors, cranes, shuttles, scale checks, and carton-opening systems. Adhere to the highest quality standards, while always ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation. Optimize automation efficiency and performance to ensure delivery of contracted KPIs. Interface with the customer as needed to support operations. Monitor and maintain the site spare parts inventory, as applicable. What you'll need High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or Technical Certificate preferred. Previous experience in electrical or mechanical troubleshooting and repair of material-handling conveyors, AS/RS, and shuttle systems preferred. Thorough attention to detail and demonstrated problem-solving ability. Excellent communication skills and customer service skills.
