CNC Maintenance Specialist Caliberr Staffing East Peoria, IL Job Details Full-time $27.38 - $40.54 an hour 18 hours ago Qualifications Pneumatic machine repair Electronic systems troubleshooting Industrial equipment troubleshooting High school diploma or GED Troubleshooting hydraulic systems Electrical fault repair Full Job Description About the Role As a CNC Maintenance Specialist, you will ensure the peak performance of our manufacturing equipment by performing expert-level diagnostics and repairs. You will play a critical role in minimizing downtime and optimizing machine reliability through proactive maintenance and advanced technical troubleshooting of complex electrical and mechanical systems. Responsibilities Execute complex break-fix repairs and preventative maintenance on CNC machinery to ensure operational continuity. Diagnose root causes of equipment failure by analyzing electrical circuitry, mechanical systems, and control software. Utilize predictive maintenance technologies to gather performance data and drive equipment longevity. Operate metalworking tools, including lathes and grinders, to fabricate or recondition replacement parts. Maintain accurate maintenance logs and history within the CMMS to track equipment health. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce operational costs. Mentor junior technicians and provide technical leadership on small project teams. Adhere to strict safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures, to maintain a secure work environment. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in a technical field with 3+ years of industrial experience, or 5+ years of relevant trade experience. Proficiency in troubleshooting 120/208/240/480 voltage systems and hydraulic/pneumatic components. Strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and mechanical repair. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various physical positions including stooping, kneeling, and climbing. Preferred Skills Experience with spindle maintenance and advanced CNC machine setup. Proven ability to analyze and resolve complex hardware/software configuration issues. Commitment to ongoing technical self-study and professional development.
