This position combines responsibilities across automation maintenance, troubleshooting, diagnostics, robotics support, and continuous process improvement. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with industrial automation systems, robotics, control systems, and maintenance operations while demonstrating strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Key Responsibilities Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair automated production equipment, robotic systems, and computer-controlled machinery. Respond to equipment failures and production interruptions, providing immediate technical support. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance activities following TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) guidelines. Diagnose electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and automation control system issues. Interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and manufacturer documentation. Install, configure, and commission robotic systems and automation equipment. Support automation programming modifications and software adjustments in collaboration with engineering teams. Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve equipment reliability. Document maintenance activities, troubleshooting results, and equipment performance data. Assist with machine setup, fixture adjustments, and operator support activities. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams on process improvements. Ensure compliance with company safety procedures, EHS requirements, and operational standards. Required Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Automation Technology, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related technical field. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Experience 2-4 years of experience in Industrial Automation, Robotics, Maintenance, Manufacturing Technology, or related technical environments. Technical Skills Strong knowledge of industrial automation systems and controls. Experience troubleshooting electrical, mechanical, and robotic equipment. Familiarity with PLCs, sensors, motion control systems, pneumatics, and industrial automation components. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation. Experience supporting manufacturing equipment and automated production systems. Strong root cause analysis and troubleshooting capabilities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with robotic systems and automated manufacturing equipment. Exposure to PLC programming and industrial control systems. Knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) methodologies. Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Manufacturing, electronics, or high-volume production environment experience. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 30 lbs independently. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with assistance. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work around production equipment for extended periods.
