Job Description

Shift:

What you'll do: Plan, layout, install and maintain, program and trouble shoot electrical and electronic controls and equipment, including PLC and motion control devices, and will perform mechanical tasks associated with the above situations. Work from complicated drawings, specifications or wiring diagrams and have a hands-on knowledge of electricity and electronics. Also must be able to work without drawings and create such drawings when necessary for project work and keep current with new developments in your respective field. Required to direct the work of helpers, instruct plant emergency squad members and operate a power truck. You must adhere to all facility safety guidelines and encourage communication and participation of personnel to further identify and reduce/eliminate potential hazards. Constant care is required to prevent injury to others. All work must be performed in accordance with National Electrical CodeRequirements. Adhere to and support all facility environmental guidelines and procedures to identify additional pollution prevention projects to reduce waste and raw material consumption and are responsible for organization and cleanliness of the work area, and support and abide by all procedures set forth to assure product and process quality and plant manufacturing principles.
Qualifications:
•Requirements for consideration: •- Must have a minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing environment and must have proficiency with PLC and other electronics equipment. Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc. Relocation is offered within the
United States Preferred Qualifications:
- The completion of an apprenticeship program, further education in the electronics field.
You should be proficient in:
PLC Troubleshooting Skills Facilities Maintenance Experience Journeyman's License Troubleshooting Industrial Automation Equipment National Electrical Code (NEC) PLC Programming Experience Electrical / Electronic Systems High Voltage Systems Industrial Electrical Experience Industrial Electrical Systems Machines & technologies you'll use: CNC Automation Solutions (Fanuc, Haas, Siemens, Okuma, Dmg Mori Seiki)
