This role focuses on ensuring equipment reliability, optimizing performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced production environment. Key Responsibilities Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with automated systems, robotics, and equipment reliability Perform equipment start-ups, shutdowns, modifications, and upgrades Maintain and repair automation systems to ensure maximum uptime and efficiency Respond promptly to production issues to minimize downtime Apply preventative maintenance (PM) practices for scheduled and unscheduled repairs Analyze systems including mechanical, electrical, servo, and robotic components Provide technical support to improve equipment performance and processes Assist with installation and implementation of new equipment and automation systems Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all safety procedures and manufacturing standards Collaborate with engineering and production teams Qualifications Associate degree in Mechatronics, Automation, Robotics , or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of experience with automated systems in a manufacturing environment Basic understanding and troubleshooting of PLC systems Experience with Allen Bradley Studio 5000 (preferred) or similar Basic knowledge of robotics systems (EPSON, FANUC, UR, or similar) Experience with servo drives, vision systems, and automation controls Familiarity with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Creo, or similar) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and teamwork skills Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement Work Environment Manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and moderate to high noise levels Exposure to oils, sealants, and industrial materials PPE required (safety glasses, gloves, safety shoes) Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Ability to stand and work for extended periods Additional Information Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screening Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE)
