6 monthsJob Summary:
The Test Technician II is responsible for testing and qualifying barcode printer products, including printers, labels, and related materials. This role involves setting up printers, configuring feed and speed settings for various media and ribbon supplies, and evaluating print quality. The technician will analyze test data using Excel and/or QA software and may support environmental (chamber) testing when needed.Key Responsibilities:
- Execute straightforward product test plans as well as a limited range of moderately complex test plans, following established procedures
- Set up and operate printers, including configuring feed rates and speed for different media and ribbon types
- Evaluate and grade barcodes and labels; measure label specifications for quality and accuracy
- Record product performance and document results according to established procedures
- Create and maintain data files, inputting test results, issues, and observations using standard tools and systems
- Assist with first-level failure analysis and support root cause investigations as needed
- Ensure all testing activities are completed thoroughly, accurately, and in a timely manner
- Utilize various testing methodologies, including functional, performance, reliability, and environmental testing
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of relevant testing experience preferred
- Experience with chamber (environmental) testing is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Strong attention to detail and data analysis skills
- Ability to lift up to 45 lbs as needed (not a regular daily requirement)
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field preferred OR
