2+ years of metrology or calibration experience Strong understanding of measurement systems (pressure, temperature, flow, electrical, etc.) Ability to read and interpret technical schematics and calibration procedures Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 17025, ANSI/Z540-1) Experience working in a plant or industrial environmentJob Summary:
The Instrument Calibration and Repair Technician is responsible for calibrating and maintaining instruments used to measure physical, mechanical, and electrical properties. This role ensures accuracy and reliability of measurement systems across critical plant utilities and equipment.Job Duties:
Perform calibration, maintenance, and repair of instruments measuring pressure, temperature, flow, voltage, current, and other variables Support calibration activities across systems including steam generators, boilers, chillers, HVAC, compressed air, and power distribution Identify sources of measurement error and ensure accuracy and reliability of results Read and interpret schematics, specifications, and calibration procedures Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering, and external vendors Maintain accurate calibration records and documentation in compliance with quality standards Assist with troubleshooting and resolving instrumentation issues in a plant environment Support continuous improvement of calibration processes and practicesQualifications:
