We are seeking service technicians to repair, customize, maintain, or overhaul both customer and dealer owned vehicles. Enjoy working in our new modern facility! Powersports Service Technician:
Repair, customize, overhaul, or maintain customer and dealer owned powersports vehicles including motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and much more. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and fuel system issues in powersports vehicles Perform service, repair, and customization work in accordance with factory specifications Complete repair work within the scheduled time whenever possible. Maintain productivity time spent working on billable jobs as close to 100% as possible. Request parts for the job as early as possible Notify the Service Writer/Manager of additional work needed or delays After the job is finished, complete and file paperwork. Assist Service Writer, when requested, write up work orders, communicate with customers, test ride, etc. Keep work area clean and organized Complete necessary training assigned by the Service Manager. Minimize come backs and deal with them satisfactorily Keep customer vehicle clean during service Perform other related duties as assigned Qualifications -
Powersports Service Technician:
Prefer powersports service department experience and/or completion of a factory authorized training program such as MMI Service School or equivalent work experience Service Technicians need both basic and special tools to properly diagnose and service our products and are required to own a set of tools within 180 days of hire. Able to balance and push an 800+ lb. motorcycle. Able to lift up to 50 lbs. Good technical skills and problem-solving abilities. Is honest and fair in all business dealings. Treats all employees and customers fairly, courteously, and with dignity. Excellent communication skills and a focus on quality
