Summary We have an exciting opportunity for an Electrical Engineering Technician at our brand-new facility in Georgetown, Indiana. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to support both production and engineering teams. Responsibilities Read and interpret assembly drawings, schematics, and bills of material Perform high-quality soldering, including through‑hole and surface‑mount (SMT) techniques Build and terminate cable harnesses Apply solder stencils and solder paste accurately Follow proper ESD protection and all safety procedures Hand‑place or use assisted pick‑and‑place equipment to mount SMT components down to 0402 size Apply conformal coating to printed circuit board assemblies Identify electronic components and understand their applications Build and test a wide range of analog and digital circuits Operate test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair systems at the component, board, and system levels Assist with development and construction of custom electrical apparatus Support planning, execution, and analysis of assembly and engineering tests Perform preventive maintenance, testing, calibration, and adjustments on electronic equipment Maintain inventory records and manage ordering, stocking, and storage of electronic components Communicate effectively in both computer‑based and in‑person team environments Use word processing and spreadsheet software to prepare, present, and share test data Ideal Experience Associate degree (A.A.), or 5-6 years of related work experience or training Current IPC‑J‑STD‑001S certification, or ability to obtain certification within 6 months of hire Current
