Automation TechnicianJob Description An opportunity awaits for an Automation Technician to collaborate closely with the Electrical Engineer. Your role will involve assisting with automation projects, troubleshooting, and performing preventative maintenance on equipment such as robots and conveyors. Responsibilities + Assist with automation projects in collaboration with the Electrical Engineer. + Perform troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on robotic and conveyor equipment. + Utilize your electrical and mechanical knowledge to resolve equipment issues. + Apply your skills in robotics and PLCs to ensure smooth operations. Essential Skills + Proficiency in automation and troubleshooting. + Strong knowledge in robotics and electrical systems. + Experience with PLCs. + Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Associates degree in engineering, automation, robotics, or a related field. + Strong understanding of electrical fundamentals. Training will commence on the first shift with the engineering manager for approximately two weeks before transitioning to the third shift, which runs from 11 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jeffersonville, IN. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.90/hr.
