Job Description

The Leak Test Instrumentation Assembly Technician will be responsible for assembling and testing leak detection equipment. The candidate must have excellent mechanical and electrical assembly skills and be able to read technical drawings and schematics. Willing to train the proper candidate.
Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Assemble and test leak detection equipment according to technical drawings and schematics.
  • Inspect and troubleshoot equipment to ensure that it is functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with engineers to identify design flaws and suggest improvements.
  • Maintain accurate records of all assembly activities.
  • Ensure that all equipment is assembled to company standards and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance on assembly equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate's degree in electronics or related field preferred
  • At least two years of experience in mechanical or electrical assembly
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills

  • Mechanical assembly skills
  • Sanding and Painting Experience
  • Electronics experience a plus
  • Electrical assembly skills
  • Electrical assembly skills
  • Ability to use hand tools and power tools
  • Knowledge of basic electronics principles
  • Familiarity with testing equipment such as multimeters and flow meters
