  • Any member of the Indiana Army Nional Guard, AGR, and M-Day Soldiers Duties Help Responsible for the Ground Support Equipment maintenance program, inventory control, and the identificion and scheduling of preventive maintenance requirements for ground support equipment.
Trouble-shoots, repairs; services; performs modificions on, and operes powered ground support equipment such as AC and DC power generors, air compressors, blowers, heers, portable lighting units, deicers and non-powered equipment to include work stands, jacks, ramps, tow-bars, etc. Performs required preventive maintenance and servicing of equipment including repairing and replacing tires, lubricion, oil changes, replacing air, fuel and oil filters, checking fluid levels; and adjusting or replacing ignition parts, hoses, v-belts, and other items. Performs major system component overhaul/rebuild, repair/replacement and troubleshooting as needed, to include but not limited to, power-plant systems, brake systems, steering systems, hydraulic systems, diesel and gas systems, air systems, starting systems, ignition systems and electrical systems in addition to the following components, power-plant, brake, fuel, steering, hydraulic, air, starting, ignition and electrical system. Requirements Help Conditions of employment Nional Guard Membership is required. This is an excepted service position th requires membership in a compible military assignment in the Nional Guard. Selectee required to wear the military uniform. GENERAL EXPERIENCE
: Experience or training which demonstres the applicant's knowledge of electrical or electronic theory, knowledge of common testing procedures, skill in the use of hand tools of the electronics trade, and skill in reading schemics.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have l2 month's experience and/or approprie training in functions such as inspection, maintenance, repair and modificion of powered ground support equipment used in support of electronic systems or sub-systems. Experience or training in utilizing principles, basic functions, and applicion of theory of electronic systems or equipment. Experience in diagnosing problems and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic equipment or systems. Experience in making mechanical repairs th required the use of precision measuring and calibring equipment. Experience in using complex test equipment such as deviion meters, complex special test panels, etc. Experience which demonstres the ability to interpret technical manuals, specificions, and publicions.
