Mobile Automotive Technician

• Clay Center / North Central Kansas We're hiring a dependable, experienced Automotive Technician to join a growing mobile service operating in and around Clay Center and surrounding communities.

This is not a shop job—you'll be working independently, traveling to customers' homes, farms, and job sites. If you're tired of flat-rate pressure, shop politics, or inconsistent hours, this is a chance to take control of your workday and focus on quality repairs.

What You'll Do:

Travel to customer locations (Clay Center, Concordia, Junction City, and nearby areas) Diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles (gas & light-duty trucks) Perform maintenance services (brakes, batteries, starters, alternators, etc.) Communicate clearly with customers about issues and solutions Keep accurate job records (photos, notes, invoices)

What We're Looking For:

3+ years of hands-on automotive repair experience Strong diagnostic skills (scan tools, electrical, drivability) Ability to work independently and stay organized on the road Valid driver's license and clean driving record ASE certification is a plus, but not required
