Job Description

Duties:
Spray and apply fertilizer and chemicals on crop farms in Lane County, KS, with minimal to no supervision; operate combine during harvest; perform preventative maintenance and repair of crop application machinery and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation; troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary adjustments or repairs in the field and shop; maintain shop area and inventory supplies and parts; assist with crew scheduling.
Requirements:
2 years' experience in equipment repair and maintenance; able to weld; able to safely operate farm equipment with GPS systems; willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, holidays, and weekends; ability to lift 100 lbs; pass drug test; 5-6 days per week, higher during planting and harvest.
