Job Description

A Laser Welder operates and programs specialized laser equipment to join metal components with high precision and minimal heat distortion. This role requires interpreting technical drawings, adjusting laser parameters, and conducting quality inspections to ensure flawless, structurally sound parts.
Core Responsibilities Machine Operation:
Set up, calibrate, and operate handheld laser welding systems.
Parameter Adjustment:
Program and adjust critical laser metrics like pulse width, frequency, and power
Material Handling:
Work with a variety of materials, including steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Equipment Maintenance:
Perform routine maintenance on laser machinery and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Key Requirements & Qualifications Experience:
Typically requires 1-3+ years of experience in manufacturing, welding, or a related field.
Technical Skills:
Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and welding symbols.
Metallurgical Knowledge:
Understanding of how different alloys and dissimilar metals react to focused heat.
Physical Demands:
Must be able to stand for long periods and lift or move up to 50 lbs.
Pay:
$18.00 - $22.00 per hour
