This role delivers superior Customer Experience by providing timely and quality repairs to meet compliance standards in a production facility as part of a high performing team. What you'll do as a Medical Repair Technician Utilize small hand tools (e.g., screwdrivers, pliers, tweezers) for assembly and repair tasks Operate microscopes and test equipment such as light sources and video processors Perform hand soldering with precision and care Read and follow manuals, work instructions, job standards, and related documentation Communicate effectively with team members and customers, both verbally and in writing Maintain a customer-oriented approach in all tasks and interactions Use basic computer skills to input data, navigate systems, and complete documentation The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed High school diploma or GED required Mechanical/technical aptitude and hand-eye coordination are required. Must be able to work occasional overtime, sometimes outside normal business hours (i.e. on a Saturday), based on Customer and business needs 2+ years of work experience is required, including at least 1 year ofrelevant experience•, or 1 year of experience at STERIS. All experience must be verifiable. •To be considered relevant, at least 1 year of work experience must involve some type of detailed, hands-on work with small or delicate components.
