Job Description

Position Summary:
Keep all equipment in good repair with a minimum of downtime by providing day-to-day maintenance of the club. Complete maintenance work orders from all departments on a timely basis by following club standard operating procedures. Continually work towards and support the improvement of engineering service to members, other departments, and fellow team members.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Respond and attend to all repair requests. Understand and operate advanced electrical, plumbing, refrigeration, and boiler systems. Interpret readings from meters & gauges and other measuring units. Prioritize and organize work assignments. Work under pressure situations and exercise good judgements. Perform maintenance activities like plunging toilets, unclogging drains, repairing all types of hardware, electrical equipment including lamps and HVAC. Test, troubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment. Regularly perform preventive maintenance duties in lubrication of equipment, changing of filters, checking of fire extinguishers and other duties to prevent major costly breakdowns as assigned. To operate as an independent mechanic by analyzing problems, identifying courses of action, and implementing solutions with available resources and to a high degree of quality. To be available for any emergencies and act in an engineering capacity to protect members and associates and preserve the building and its systems during the emergency. Monitor fire Alarm / Life Safety Systems, as necessary. Read and understand blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical parts breakdown. When no work is assigned, keeps productive throughout the shift by completing work orders, completing weekly walk-through items, and any other task that needs to be completed in the hotel. Keep all tools and supplies secure throughout shift to prevent loss from theft. Ability to lift and/or move up to 50lbs. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets. Performs other duties as assigned. High School Education or GED Minimum of two years experience in Maintenance Effective problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Well organized and able to prioritize tasks.
