Fiber Splicer

We are seeking experienced Fiber Optic Splicers to join our telecommunications construction crews supporting fiber-to-the-home projects across Kansas and Missouri. This role requires consistent travel, with team members working directly from home to job sites or hotels based on project location. Overnight travel is required.

We are hiring:

Fiber Optic Splicers Key Responsibilities Perform fiber optic splicing including opening cable, prepping, and terminating fiber Operate hand tools and fiber splicing equipment Read and interpret maps, prints, and job specifications Conduct fiber testing and troubleshooting to ensure network integrity Maintain company-issued vehicle, tools, and equipment Support general field operations as needed Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors Follow all company and safety procedures Requirements Must Have Valid Driver's License with safe driving record (within last 5 years) Willingness to travel 100% for project work Basic computer proficiency Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions Strong commitment to safety and quality Preferred Qualifications Fiber optic splicing experience (mainline preferred) Experience with fiber testing equipment and tools Telecom or fiber-to-the-home project experience Physical Requirements Ability to lift 50-75 lbs Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform manual labor throughout the workday Ability to work safely in active construction environments What We Offer Competitive pay ($25-$45/hour based on experience and production) 100% paid training (if needed) Company vehicle (no personal vehicle use required) Company laptop and equipment Daily per diem for overnight travel Overtime opportunities Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and 6 paid holidays Referral program Supportive, team-oriented work environment

$25.00 - $40.00 per hour
