ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC
  • TITLE 32, WG-2610-12, you will perform maintenance on multi-complex electronic integred systems.
Complete operional checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of Line Replaceable Units. Isole malfunctions using technical orders, schemics, wiring diagrams, tools, and test equipment. Solve complex problems by analyzing installion, circuitry, and opering characteristics of the systems. Adjust and align system sensors, transmitters, amplifiers, power supplies, display devices, controls, transponders, actuors, servos, computers and other reled components. Install serviceable components into aircraft and perform total systems alignment. Maintain, modify, calibre and inspect user test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. Install, modify, overhaul, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, rebuild, align, and calibre complete electronic avionics multi-systems control. Review and analyze maintenance da. Align, adjust, and perform final calibrions on integred systems. Analyze equipment failure and malfunctions and suggest changes to improve operion. Troubleshoot operional malfunctions and analyze system performance utilizing aircrew debrief da, Technical Orders, schemic and wiring diagrams, engineering drawings, da analysis, test equipment and built in system tests. Perform equipment maintenance on systems. Test and troubleshoot solid ste electronic assemblies and subassemblies. Recommend methods to improve equipment performance, technical da, and maintenance procedures by reporting malfunctions, initie merial deficiency reports, and assist in design changes. Conduct aircrew debriefing to determine the nure of malfunctions. Requisition supply assets and process repairable assets. Document man-hour expenditures and maintenance actions. REQUIREMENT

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
You must maintain membership in the Kentucky Nional Guard. You must be assigned to a compible military position. Wear of the military uniform. May be subject to furlough actions. May be required to successfully complete a trial period. Participion in direct deposit is mandory. Must obtain and maintain a favorable adjudicion of a T3 or equivalent investigion. Acceptance of a Federal position may termine a military bonus. Acceptance of a Federal position will termine Tricare Reserve Select (TRS) eligibility. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. Must have the capability to lift, carry, push, or otherwise handle items weighing up to 70 pounds. Must have the physical capability to stand, climb, walk, bend, crouch, reach, and stoop over extended periods of time. Must possess a valid ste driver's license to opere government motor vehicles in accordance with Air Force and Air Nional Guard Vehicle Operions Directives. Must complete the hazm certificion within six months of employment and complete hazm recertificion every two years.
This position is developmental:
Incumbent may be non-competitively promoted to the next higher grade upon completion of an Individual Development Plan (IDP), award of the compible 7-skill level AFSC, meeting time in grade requirements, and recommendion for promotion by supervisor. Qualificions
MINIMUM REQUIREMENT
Experience th demonstres the basic knowledge of electronic theories and practices to identify, isole and repair malfunctions in integred systems. Experience with relive principles such as digital and analog circuits, electro-mechanical devices, solid ste devices, digital techniques, synchro/servo operion and integred circuit theory. Experience interpreting and tracing schemics, logic and wiring diagrams and using a wide variety of test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment (TMDE).
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have least 12 months experience installing, modifying, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, aligning, calibring, and rebuilding multi-system avionics complexes. Experience completing operional checks, inspections, tests, trouble shooting, removal and replacement of systems and components. Experience isoling malfunctions using technical orders, schemics, wiring diagrams, tools, and test equipment. Experience maintaining, modifying, calibring, and inspecting user test, measurement, and diagnostic equipment. Experience performing installions, modificions, overhauling, maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, rebuilding, aligning, and calibring complete electronic avionics multi-system controls. Experience evaluing operional characteristics of integred systems by observing and analyzing waveforms, voltage, current, power indicions, computer registers and printouts. Experience analyzing malfunctions encountered through fault codes, determining repair sequence process and performing required repairs. Experience performing alignments, adjustments, and conducting calibrions on integred systems.
