Baton Rouge, LA On-Site EagleBurgmann Industries LP You support our team as Seal Repair Technician Responsibilities Perform mechanical seal repair, assembly, and service activities to meet safety, quality, and delivery standards Interpret assembly drawings and customer specifications to accurately repair and rebuild mechanical seals Inspect seal components using measuring instruments to ensure compliance with dimensional and quality requirements Complete repair documentation including inspection reports, observation reports, and work orders Support shipping and receiving activities, including material handling and inventory staging Maintain accurate and organized documentation related to repairs and service activities Ensure a safe, clean, and organized work environment, including proper maintenance of tools and equipment Provide after-hours support as needed to meet customer requirements and service demands Qualifications Associate degree or equivalent experience in a technical or mechanical field Minimum of 2 years of service center, repair, or related hands-on mechanical experience Strong mechanical aptitude with experience in precision assembly and machining processes Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical specifications Proficiency in using measuring tools and inspection equipment Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high quality standards Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Effective communication skills with a team-oriented mindset and basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications The Freudenberg Group is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion.
