Instrumentation Technician Job Description We are seeking dedicated candidates to perform wiring and assembly of control panels for the oil and gas industry. This position involves working in a shop setting, with the potential to spend time in the field assisting with the installation of new equipment after training. Responsibilities Perform wiring and assembly of control panels. Read and understand electrical drawings and schematics. Assist with installation of new equipment in the field. Essential Skills Ability to read and understand electrical drawings. Proficiency in wiring and assembly tasks. Skillful use of hand tools. Additional Skills & Qualifications Entry-level candidates preferred. Associates degree in Process Technology or relevant wiring knowledge Why Work Here? Work Environment Work in a climate-controlled shop environment focusing on control panels, without the need for certifications, medical requirements, or PPE. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Belle Chasse, LA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
